PM Activity / Pep Assembly Schedule
TODAY
Mrs. Monnin’s classes will report to the library today. Her 6th period class will report to the library 5th period and eat lunch 6th period.
KHM will report to the library today.
The 1st 9 Weeks ends today. Grade cards will be distributed to students next Friday.
Juniors: Prom theme ideas NEED to be submitted to Mrs. Wagner by today.
The Fall Sports Senior Pep Assembly is today beginning at 2:39. The PM Activity / Pep Assembly Bell Schedule will be followed. Cheerleaders, band members, and senior athletes
will be dismissed from class at 2:27 to prepare for the assembly.
The Sanfilippo Awareness Fundraiser shirt orders are due Sunday, October 18, at midnight. Order forms were sent to all student emails via Final Forms and are also available in the HS Office. Shirt orders are ONLINE ONLY! We will then show our support by wearing these shirts to school on Monday, November 16.

The American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held on Wednesday, October 21. All donors will receive a $10 Amazon Gift Card from the American Red Cross! Students must be at least 16 years old to donate blood. Students who are 16 need a signed permission form by a parent. The sign up sheet is located outside of Mr. Albers’ Room 565. In addition to saving lives, your donation also helps Parkway meet its goal which earns a scholarship for our seniors. Students need a picture ID, such as a driver's license, or students can stop by the HS Office for a picture ID to be printed.
Freshmen – Please turn in your candy money ASAP! Less than ONE WEEK to go to win a PRIZE!

You are responsible to sell at least ONE box of chocolates before October 21.

Once you have sold your box, turn the money into the HS Office.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 6 sellers: 1st - $75 VISA card; 2nd - $50 Amazon card; 3rd, 4th, 5th - $25 gift card to local businesses.
Students: Do you want an opportunity to win $100? If so, simply design a t-shirt that represents our school district! The design rules are listed on the flyer that was sent to your email and is posted in the hallways. The deadline to enter the contest is Friday, October 23. Please stop by the HS Office if you have questions!
SPORTS
The Varsity Volleyball team lost a hard fought 5-set match on the road at Coldwater, 25-20, 13-25, 27-25, 15-25, 10-15. Stat leaders include: Kills Cami Langenkamp 11, Naomi Knapke 11, Savada Triplett 10; Assists - KJae Stover 23; Digs - Hadley Stover 17. Congratulations to the Lady Panthers on a remarkable season record of 19-3 overall and 6-3 in the MAC. They have also been ranked #1 in Division VI for most of the season. Tournament action will begin on Tuesday, October 27, at 6:00 at Wapakoneta against the winner of New Bremen and Lima Central Catholic. Keep it rolling, ladies! Details on tickets will be announced next week.

Fall Senior Night will begin at 6:30.
The theme for tonight’s football game is USA.
Athletic events for Saturday:
Boys interested in playing basketball: An optional open gym / workout will be held every Sunday in October from 2:00 to 4:00. Those attending need to park behind the school, enter door #17, and meet in the weight room. If you have any questions, contact Coach Garlock.
After school lifting in the weight room for grades 6-12 is offered Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week from 3:15 to 4:15.
HS softball open fields will be held from 4:15 to 5:15 at the varsity field every Wednesday until the weather is not fit!

Sophomores & Juniors: Class dues of $20 should be turned into the HS Office by October 30.
CHANGE OF DATES: Parent / Teacher Conference dates have been changed to October 26, November 3 & 5 from 4:00 to 7:00. New forms have been sent to parents via Final Forms. New forms are also available in the HS Office and on the Parkway School Website by going to the Schools tab then select High School. Parents may also contact the HS Office or email Lisa Miller at [email protected] to schedule conferences.

Sophomores - Vantage will come to Parkway on Monday, October 19, to introduce you to the programs. Then on Friday, November 13, all sophomores will visit Vantage to see the programs first hand.
Attention Seniors and Early Graduates: Because of the volleyball tournament games, the FAFSA Meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, October 26, at 6:00 in the Community Room. If you plan to go to college or tech school after graduation, you and a parent should attend this meeting.
The ACT is being offered at Parkway on Wednesday, October 28. Seniors - if you want to improve your score, this is your opportunity. Sign up in Schoolinks by Friday, October 16. Cost is $72.
