Summer
physical education is a class that includes many lifetime activities, such as:
golf, tennis, bowling, swimming, boating, and walking while also involving team
sports such as basketball, softball, soccer, flag football, and
volleyball. Trips are regularly
scheduled to provide students with a wide variety of activities.
Students
must attend ten consecutive days of physical education to get credit. If a student is unable to attend ten
consecutive days, then the class should be taken at another time.
Attendance
is extremely important! If a student miss’s
one class, their grade will be lowered by two full letter grades. Two absences will result in failure of the
class. A student must be on time and
attend each and every session! This
class is only two weeks long – be there!
Grades will be based on attendance, effort and written
examinations. Any student who does not
follow instructions and creates problems in the classroom or on field trips
will promptly be removed from the class thus resulting in failing the class. We want to work hard, have fun and create a
positive atmosphere.
