TODAY

There is no charging for meals or ala carte in the cafeteria. If you need to check your balance or add money to your account do it in the morning before the first bell rings.

 

Trash receptacles will be available in the hallways for students to start cleaning out lockers.  PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR TRASH IS PUT IN THE TRASHCANS, NOT ON THE FLOOR!  Students taking Physical Education should check with Mr. Schumm as to when you need to take your gym clothing home.  Any leftover clothing not claimed will be donated over the summer.

 

The following students still have library materials out.  If they are not returned by the end of the day TODAY, you will be charged for the materials.  Elizabeth Davis – Charles Estle – Joshua Heppeard – Courtney Miller – Miranda Temple – Madison Bruns – Trevor Burden – Kaitlin Roehm

 

There will be Friday school today in the Community Room from 3:15pm to 6:00pm for those students that have been assigned.

Congratulations to the ladies track and field team on their performance at the District meet.

Tara Luth is the District Champion in long jump and is headed to Regionals next week!! Also placing at District was Stephany Hesse 7th in Discus and Bailey King 8th in High Jump

Qualifying for Saturday’s District finals are:

Bailey King in the 100 hurdles

Alexis Bates and Amanda On in the 100 dash and the 200 dash

Haley Burtch in the 300 hurdles

Olivia Houts in the 2mile

The 4x100 relay team of Amanda On, Marissa Hunter, Tasha Walls, and Bailey King

 

The Boy’s Track team is in 9th place after the 1st day of the District Track Meet at Minster

Congratulations to Jason Ford who will advance to next week Regional Meet at Troy as the District Champion in the Shot put, and Cole Frank who finished 8th in Discus. 

Also advancing to Saturday’s District Finals are Hank Bevington in the 110 and 300 hurdles, Shawn Miller in the 100, 200 and 400, Adam Schlemmer in the 800, Landon Brehm in the 1600, and the 4x400 relay team of Shawn Miller, Hank Bevington, Landon Brehm, and Adam Schlemmer.

Seniors:  Due to Softball and Track teams needing to leave at 9:30am this Saturday, Graduation Practice will now begin at 8:30am.

 

Senior Interview Videos are now ready to purchase.  The cost is $15.00 and they are available at the concession stand during the lunch breaks.  Hurry before they run out!

 

Seniors!  Do you want a picture taken at graduation by Fox Photography receiving your diploma?  Pictures are $5.00 when you place your order.  See Sandee at the high school office.

 

FYI

Grade cards this year will be mailed to your address.  Only students that have their book fees paid in full will receive their grade cards.  Not sure if you owe anything?  Stop by the high school office and see Sandee.

 

Attention Any Senior Athletes planning on playing sport in college:  Please contact Mrs. Agler or Mr. Hughes so that we can announce your college intentions.

 

Attention Athletes: The physical/preseason packets for next school year are now available in the High School office.

 

Summer Driver’s Education forms are now available on the table in the high school office.  The first class will begin Saturday, May 29th.

Miss Ohio USA/Miss Teen USA pageant information is available on guidance bulletin board. Deadline is June 1.

 

Any female juniors or seniors interested in the Miss Lake Scholarship pageant should call Joelle Steinbrunner at 419-733-9918 soon. They have some sponsors willing to sponsor a Parkway representative.

 

The following seniors need to turn in a senior picture to the high school office today if you want your picture in the Daily Standard:

Those students who are finished with the ACT computers, please return them to the guidance office before school is out. If you are testing in June, please return them as soon after as possible. You are responsible for replacing them if they are not returned.
