The study
of American History concentrated on the years since the conclusion of the Civil
War. The course will emphasize the
American Heritage, the Diverse People in Society, the Democratic Process, World
interaction, Decision Making and the Use of Resources and the Rights and
Responsibilities entailed by American Citizenship. A variety of testing methods will be used to
evaluate the students.

present affect their daily living. They
will know and understand the geographical makeup and physical environment of
the world and its effect on society.

history of our Government, Constitution, and Amendment process, Federalism, Political
Parties, Voting, Interest Groups and Public Opinion, Congress, Presidency, Civil
Liberties, and Civil Rights. Grade is

will study Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Free Enterprise System, Demand, Supply,
Prices, Market Structure, Business Organizations, Money and Banking, Gross

Spending. Grade is based on tests,
